October is our month to take a stand. Leading Lady was built to support women in every sense of the meaning. And this month, we are proudly standing up AGAINST breast cancer, domestic violence, and hate, and we are standing FOR healthy lifestyles, empowerment, and love. For 80 years we have been embracing women with our supportive and comforting products, resources, and philanthropic programs that lift women to new heights and inspire them to be their best.
When you think of the one thing that you wear that supports your body every day, we hope you immediately imagine your bra. That’s what we have in mind as we’re designing each of our bra styles. We craft them with the finest support and comfort features like superior fabrics, reinforced lift bands, cushioned straps, and extra hook-and-eye closures for flexibility. And we offer a variety of functionalities to meet your lifestyle including underwire bras, wireless bras, racerback bras, maternity bras and nursing bras, front closure bras, and so much more.
But the way you feel about yourself in a bra is just as important as you feel in the bra.
We want you to feel confidence and powerful in your T shirt bras; motivated and strong in your sports bras; relaxed and balanced in your leisure and sleep bras; sassy and cute in your bralettes; and beautiful and sexy in your lace bras. We know as a woman, these qualities matter just as much.
As a company, Leading Lady strives to inspire women with all these traits. That includes our customers, our social media community, our partners, and those in need. As we take a stand against issues that face all too many women, we offer support, solidarity, and advocacy.
As an Ohio-based company, we’re dedicated to helping women who find themselves in life-threatening situations in our Cleveland community. We are a sponsor of WomenSafe, a domestic violence shelter and resource center. WomenSafe helps women and children escape abusive homes and relationships and rebuild their lives with dignity and security.
We also support new moms across the country with our annual Nursing Bra Donation Program during World Breastfeeding Week and National Breastfeeding Month. This year, we empowered breastfeeding with our largest donation ever of more than $600,000 in nursing bras. Many of these donations go to WIC chapters that serve families who may not otherwise be able to afford nursing bras. We also worked with LaLecheLeague chapters, clinics, hospitals, and other community groups that support breastfeeding as a life-changing and life-saving act of love.
